Director Jeremy Cox tasked me to create the world that the Targaryen battle banner set in. We decided to create a world in which a battle had taken place. We open up the scene with a burning flag and pulling back to see the aftermath of such a violent act. Introducing the threat and danger coming from the Targaryen house. I used my matte painting skill to composite this scene and created a world that illustrated our vision.
