Thunderbolts* 25-6

Turning the End Title into a Narrative Verdict

Info

The end title sequence reflects the world’s reaction to the Thunderbolts stepping into the role of the New Avengers. Framed through legacy media—tabloid headlines, opinion pieces, and magazine covers—it captures a public response split between skepticism and cautious curiosity.

Designed around uncertainty, the sequence carries the weight of inheritance and expectation, questioning whether this group is ready to take on a name shaped by history. Rather than a simple rebrand, the titles frame the moment as a cultural shift, acknowledging both the legacy of the Avengers and the audience’s evolving relationship with Marvel’s mythology.
