Project
Info
In collaboration with the team at ESPN, we crafted the broadcast package for their coverage of the 2016 Euro Cup. Inspired by the artistic history of the host country of France, we designed and created nearly 200 individual animations for the month-long tournament. Using diverse elements such as dimensional paint, pencil sketches, cartography, and industrial revolution mechanization, we have created a single unified language to brand the Euro Cup coverage.
Role
Client
In my early exploration phase. I played with the idea of mixing paint/sketches/oriental patterns to form the logo. The client saw potential in this mix of fine art elements and ultimately went with this treatment.

Here are some of the explorations we were trying. We started playing with the same concept with more sculptural forms. Using hints of fine art elements to construct modern abstract sculptures representing different teams.
